panel session a2: Prints and the built environment

The work of Kevin Haas explores the urban and suburban built environment through prints, installations, books and drawings. He specializes in fine art lithography, utilizing traditional methods alongside current digital technologies. His experience in visual art and teaching spans all areas of printmaking while intersecting with the fields of book arts and graphic design. His current interests are focused on 19th century printing when design and printing were one in the same, and everyday visual experiences in the city. He currently resides between Toronto and Washington State where he has taught courses in printmaking, book arts and design at Washington State University since 2000.
